This commit follows proposal number D170, which has been abandoned since two months ago.
The previous version created unecessary difficulty for dyslexic people (easily confused with vowels o,e and a), introduced non-standard letters, was highly political and more verbose.
Many intellectuals, including the famous historian Alessandro Barbero among others, signed a petition on this topic:

In conclusion, this commit fixes the issue in the simplest and most effective possible way: by writing italian strings in plain correct italian :)
